Beginning Monday, October 17, ten Dayton Metro Library Branches have partnered with The Foodbank as official Pantry Partner locations in Montgomery County.
Adults in need of food assistance who live in Montgomery County are eligible to pick up an emergency box at a DML Pantry Partner location. Patrons may visit a DML pantry once a month, must be 18 years of age or older, and need to bring a photo ID and proof of residency for Montgomery County (such as a utility bill or mail with their name and address).
The emergency boxes contain only food items. Pantry locations, hours, and days are as follows:
Burkhardt Branch Library: 3rd Wednesday, 3:30 - 5:30 pm
Electra C Doren Branch Library: 2nd Thursday, 3:30 - 5:30 pm
Huber Heights Branch Library: 3rd Thursday, 3:30 - 5:30 pm
Main Library: 2nd Tuesday, 3 - 5 pm
Miamisburg Branch Library: every Tuesday, 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Northwest Branch Library: 1st Monday, 11 am - Noon, 4th Wednesday, 11 am - Noon
Southeast Branch Library: 1st and 3rd Monday, 11 am - Noon
Trotwood Branch Library: 1st Wednesday, 3 - 5 pm
Vandalia Branch Library: every Wednesday, 4:30 - 5:30 pm
West Branch Library: 3rd Thursday, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
