Branch Manager - Carol Mitchell
Carol joined the Dayton Metro Library as the Huber Heights Branch Manager in April 2018. A Miami Valley native, Carol is experienced in library youth services and library management and administration. She formerly worked with libraries in Champaign and Greene Counties and worked abroad in libraries in Qatar and British Columbia, Canada. Carol enjoys traveling, and reading thrillers, nonfiction, and historical fiction.

Assistant Branch Manager - Melissa Zimmerman
Melissa Zimmerman joined the Dayton Metro Library system in February, 2019. She has worked in various roles at libraries in Columbus and Licking County since 2013. Prior to being named Assistant Branch Manager, Melissa worked as a children services librarian at the Electra C. Doren branch. She studied English at Otterbein University and received her MLIS from Kent State in 2013. She enjoys documentaries and cozy mysteries. She is an avid knitter and weaver, and is a beginning gardener.
