Branch Manager - Aimee Adams

Aimee Adams (she/her) began working in public libraries in 2009 as a volunteer for the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library in Tiffin, Ohio. She gained experience following graduation from Kent State University with her MLIS as an Adult Services Librarian with the Elyria Public Library, Supervisor of Adult and Teen Departments , then as the Systemwide Events Coordinator with the Medina County District Library, and as the Youth Services Manager of the Ritter Public Library in Vermilion, Ohio. She currently serves on the American Library Association’s (ALA) Committee on Diversity and Learning Roundtable, the Public Library Association’s Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Committee, and is a co-chair for the Association for Small and Rural Libraries (ARSL) Grants and Scholarships Committee.

Social Story

Social stories are helpful resources for anyone on their first trip to a new location, but especially for those with autism or social anxiety. They are used to aid in understanding and navigating social situations and expectations.

Brookville Meeting Rooms

  • Community Room seats 50 people (classroom style)
  • Group Study Room for up to 6 people
  • Two Study Quads for 4 people each
