Branch Manager - Wendy Knapp
Wendy Knapp joined the Dayton Metro Library team in May 2024 as Manager of the Huber Heights Branch. She has worked in libraries since 2001, most recently serving at the State Librarian of Ohio. She obtained her MLS from Indiana University in Indianapolis and has focused on technology and staff development in her career. She loves reading (mostly fiction), exploring parks, and is a big fan of sitcoms.
Assistant Branch Manager - Melissa Zimmerman
Melissa Zimmerman joined the Dayton Metro Library system in February, 2019. She has worked in various roles at libraries in Columbus and Licking County since 2013. Prior to being named Assistant Branch Manager, Melissa worked as a children services librarian at the Electra C. Doren branch. She studied English at Otterbein University and received her MLIS from Kent State in 2013. She enjoys documentaries and cozy mysteries. She is an avid knitter and weaver, and is a beginning gardener.
