Teens in grades 7 - 12 are encouraged to share their creativity by entering Dayton Metro Library's annual Teen Art Contest. Entries will be accepted at all library branches from February 1 - 28. Teens may enter into one of six categories: Watercolor, Pencil, Photography, Oil/Acrylic, Fan Art, and Mixed/Other Medium.

Contest Information and Rules:

• Each person may only submit one work, in one category
• Students must live or attend school in Montgomery County.
• Indicate grade level (7-9 or 10-12) and medium category you want to enter.
• Submit your entry to a Branch with a completed entry form (entries without a form will not be accepted). You can download an entry form here, or pick up one at your Branch Library.
• Artist names may only appear on the entry form.
• Entries must be original work and content – should not have been previously entered in any contest or published.
• No AI-generated works will be accepted.
• Entry contents should be appropriate for a general audience.
• Winners in each category will be notified by March 6.
• Contestant artwork will be on display March 3 - 31 at the Main Library
