Home Library Service
Home Library Services delivery is reserved for patrons unable to visit a library location. Eligible Home Library Services patrons must reside in the Dayton Metro Library service area and meet one of the following criteria:
- Be unable to safely come to the library due to a mental or physical disability or illness for a permanent or limited amount of time. (Please note: A doctor’s certification may be required.) Deliveries may include materials for the minor children of Home Library Services patrons.
- Live in a nursing/rehabilitation community or an assisted living community.
- Be a full-time caretaker of a person who is unable to utilize the library safely due to age, illness, physical or mental limitations.
- New or expecting parent who is unable to leave the home while caring for their newborn.
