On average, over 90 volunteers support Dayton Metro Library's mission to inform, inspire, and empower our community every month! Some volunteers are motivated by school requirements for service learning, others are new to Dayton and seek out opportunities to meet people and learn about their new home, and others are between jobs and looking to add volunteer positions to their resume. Many volunteers enjoy helping and making a difference in their community. No matter why someone becomes a volunteer, we are grateful for the chance to collaborate, but don’t take my word for it!
