Teens Can Explore Career Options at West

Dayton Metro Library’s West Branch is offering an array of programs designed to help teens figure out what to do after high school.

West Branch staff have created a new program series called See Yourself As…, which were created to give teens the opportunity to explore potential career paths:

  • See Yourself As: A Medical Doctor with Dr. Christen Johnson, Friday, May 26, 4 - 5 pm
    will discuss her path to becoming a medical doctor.
  • See Yourself As: A Music Producer with Dameon Hughes, better known as Superstar O Monday, June 5, 4 - 5 pm
  • See Yourself As: A Social Worker, with Dr. Carmela Daniels, Tuesday, June 6, 4 - 5 pm
  • See Yourself As: An Entrepreneur, with Eric Moore of E. Moore Solutions, LLC., Friday, June 9, 4 - 5 pm

West Branch College & Career Fair
Tuesday, June 13, 3 - 6 pm
For teens trying to figure out their next steps after high school, this College & Career Fair is a great starting point. Meet representatives from local colleges, trade schools, and more.

FAFSA Workshop
Tuesday, June 13, 5 - 6 pm
Rob Durkle, from Montgomery County Educational Service Center (MCESC), will lead a workshop on getting FAFSA applications started and submitted. Limited seating, first-come, first-served.

All programs noted are FREE and registration is not required to attend.
