Tweens/Kids Programs Fill DML’s August Calendar

Tweens (and younger) can look to the Dayton Metro Library for activities to keep them busy as summer draws to a close. DML has a full selection of programs scheduled through August that will pique every interest and are fun and educational too.


  • Themed Thursday: Locker Decorations with the Air Marker Sprayer, Thursday, August 11, 3:45-4:45 pm
  • STEAM with a Story, Tuesday, August 16, 6-7 pm

  • LEGO Creation Contest, August 13, 10-11:30 am


  • Crazy 8s Math Club, Wednesday, August 17, 4:30-5:30 pm (registration required)
  • Tween Game Time, Friday, August 19, 4-5 pm
  • LEGO Club, Tuesday, August 23, 4:30-5:30 pm (registration required)


  • Fun with Slime, Thursday, August 18, 6:45-7:30 pm (registration required)


  • How to Draw I, August 22, 6-7 pm
  • How to Draw II, August 29, 6-7 pm


  • STEM Exploration, Wednesday, August 24, 4-5 pm
