Learn About Tessellations with DML and DAI

Dayton Metro Library welcomes the Dayton Art Institute to the Northwest Branch Library for their Dayton Art Institute Ocean of Possibility program Friday, July 29, from 1-3 pm.

Participants will learn how to make tessellations, a pattern of shapes that fit perfectly together and cover a space. Tessellations can be a great way to connect the concepts of symmetry, pattern, and geometric shapes by using creativity. Children of all ages are invited to attend. For older students looking for more of a challenge, extensions will be provided.

The Northwest Branch Library is located at 2410 Philadelphia Drive, Dayton. Registration is not required. This program is presented by both the DAI and the Junior League of Dayton.
