Dayton Metro Library will host a free Record Sealing Legal Help Clinic at the Main Library, Community Room 2A, 2nd Floor, on Friday, July 29, from 1- 5 pm. Those who have questions about sealing criminal records and need relevant documents for record sealing can meet with volunteers for assistance.
Advanced registration for this clinic is required be visiting www.picktime.com/DMLLegalClinics and selecting an appointment time. The Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyers Project will meet with pre-registered patrons. Walk-ins can complete an intake screening for a follow-up with a GDVLP lawyer after the clinic.
Other volunteers from various outlets around the county that will be on hand to answer questions include: the Dayton Municipal Court, the Montgomery County Office of Reentry, the Montgomery County Law Office of the Public Defender, the Kettering Municipal Court, and the Vandalia Municipal Court.
