Helping You Help Your Students

Whether you’re a teacher, school librarian, or administrator, our dedicated Teen Specialists are here with helpful, actionable information about the many FREE Library resources available to you and your students. Helping kids, and helping those who help kids, is at the heart of what drives us. The Middle Ground offers access, tips, and materials—both online and off—designed specifically for you and your students, so you can learn, share, and grow together.

Are your students working on a big assignment, project or research paper? We’ve got your back! Give us a heads-up with an Assignment Alert, and we’ll gather resources and provide suggestions related to the topic. Just fill out an easy online form or email your Teen Specialist, then we’ll:

  • Email a list of resources you can share with your students
  • Prepare suggestions and offer one-on-one guidance in the Library

  • We’ll pull and reserve specific books from across our entire system to bring to your neighborhood Branch
