We all know, COVID is far from over, and Dayton Metro Library wants to make sure everyone has the opportunity to connect to the resources they need to protect themselves, and others, especially our most vulnerable – young children and those who are medically compromised.
At this time (effective August 9. 2021), following current CDC guidelines, as well as City and Montgomery County mandates, DML is requiring that all staff, visitors, and patrons over the age of two wear a mask in all Library locations. Free disposable masks are available at our AskMe Desks. Below you will find links to resources, including information on local vaccine clinics.
Current Hours, All Locations Open: Mon, Tue, Thu: 9:30 AM - 8:30 PM | Wed, Fri, Sat: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM | Closed Sunday
Reservations for Community Rooms with access before-and after-hours start on August 16, 2021.
Reserve items you want using our online catalog, or call the Ask Me Line at 937.463.2665 for assistance. You will be notified when your items are ready to be borrowed. At that time, call the Library to make arrangements for Curbside Service, or use the convenient DML App on your phone or device. Bagged materials are placed directly into vehicle trunks.*
on the Library App
Make arrangements for picking up your requested materials - without having to call. If you already have the DML app installed on your phone or device, My Curbside Pickup is activated when you have materials ready for you to borrow. If you need to install the app, search for “Dayton Library” in the App Store, Google Play or Kindle.
*At some Branch Libraries you may have to park and exit your car to pick up your bagged materials at the Library entrance.
Expanded Curbside Services!
In addition to picking up Library materials you’ve requested, Curbside Service now includes copying, faxing and scanning. Print items directly from your phone, tablet or computer to the Branch where you want to pick them up using Mobile Print. Call the Ask Me Line at 937.463.2665 to make arrangements for these services.
