Power the Vote

Library staff can help answer questions in preparation for the November 8 election. If you are in a branch, stop by the Ask Me Desk for assistance. Below is a list of important dates and online resources.

General Election Day: November 8

Deadline to Register to Vote: October 11

Register to vote at www.montgomery.boe.ohio.gov; pick one up at the Montgomery County Board of Elections; or at your nearest Dayton Metro Library branch.

Absentee Ballots: Available Now

Request an absentee ballot now at www.montgomery.boe.ohio.gov, or pick up an absentee ballot request form at the Montgomery County Board of Elections or at your nearest Dayton Metro Library Branch.

Absentee Voting by Mail:

Must be postmarked by November 7

Absentee Voting Drop-off:

Drop off your absentee ballot by November 7 at the Montgomery County Board of Elections.

Only available at the Montgomery County Board of Elections (includes two Saturdays, the Sunday and the Monday before Election Day).

Vote at your County Board of Elections.

October 12 - 14, 8 am - 5 pm
October 17 - 21, 8 am - 5 pm
October 24 - 28, 8 am - 5 pm
October 29, 8 am - 4 pm
October 31, 8 am - 7 pm
November 1 - 4, 8 am - 7 pm
November 5, 8 am - 4 pm
November 6, 1 pm - 5 pm
November 7, 8 am - 2 pm

Find important information including valid forms of voter ID, registration status, polling place, sample ballots; and more here.

Check your registration and precinct location at VoteOhio.gov to make sure you are registered or call the League at 937-228-4041.
