Build a successful foundation for grant seeking! This series of three 90-minute sessions breaks down the grant seeking process into manageable units, with a curriculum developed by the expert trainers at the Foundation Center. Take one session or all three: 1. Grant Seeking Basics Wednesday, September 7, 2:00-3:30 We'll start with the essentials of seeking foundation grants: including what you need to have in place before you seek a grant, what you need to know about grantmakers, and how you can identify funding partners. We'll take a look at real examples of local foundations in the Dayton community.

2. Proposal Writing Basics
Wednesday, October 5, 2:00-3:30
We'll dissect each of the key parts of a grant proposal to a foundation, with tips on organizing, writing, packaging and submitting the proposal. This program includes hands-on examples using a case study of a grant proposal.

3. Proposal Budgeting Basics
Wednesday, November 2, 2:00-3:30
This program will help you translate a project idea into financial terms: a crucial part of every grant proposal.
