The Internet is home to many wonderful free, no-strings-attached, reliable sources of training and advice for nonprofits. One of the best is www.Grantspace.org, the Foundation's Center online learning community. This session will help you maximize the use of Grantspace to become a better grant seeker.

2. Google Came Up Empty? Researching Individuals

You have an appointment with a prospect that you’re excited about, but don’t have a researcher on staff to provide the information you need to prepare. You found nothing of substance using Google and need more information quickly, but don’t know quite where to start. During this presentation you will discover valuable free and fee-based resources to get the information you need to turn this interested individual into a loyal donor. Guest presenter Kimberly Elahab is the CEO of Prospect Research Unlimited LLC and has ten years of experience researching hundreds of prospects and donors in a professional fundraising department.
