A major recycling resource is the Montgomery County Solid Waste District. The name's a little misleading since they work to reduce waste. Services include a "Buy Recycled" grant program, free assessments on business waste reduction, and McMRF, a free store where nonprofits can shop for used supplies and furnishings.
For a fee, the University of Dayton Building Energy Center will conduct audits of your building to identify energy- and cost-saving steps. Or you can take a short quiz called the Ohio Small Business Energy Saver.
