April 1 is National Census Day: The deadline  to return U.S. Census forms by mail.   Every person must be counted so that Dayton gets its share of federal funding and gets fair representation in government.   A mere 5% undercount means  that Montgomery County could lose out on more than $320 million in federal funds over the next ten years, according to the Dayton Business Journal.

2010.census.gov shows how well Dayton fared in the last Census.   In some city neighborhoods, only HALF of people participated!   Just imagine how much funding was lost because of this low participation rate.
