Africa

Dayton has immigrants and refugees from many African countries escaping armed conflict.  Others come here through the U.S. Diversity Visa, and some come as college students.  The Dayton Metro Library welcomes all those who come to our communities seeking a better life.  The library intentionally purchases books that reflect the diversity of our communities and makes an effort to acquire books in languages other than English.
