You can also  donate to Thanksgiving in Dayton: A Feast of Giving and help continue the tradition of the Beerman Thanksgiving Dinner, which was offered by the Beerman Foundation for 40 years.   It is believed to be the largest of its kind in the nation.

"We know of very few communities as rich in spirit and friendship as Dayton," said William S. Weprin, President of the The Beerman Foundation.   "It's what Dayton is all about - caring people,"  said a volunteer in the Dayton Daily News.
