That's the secret formula behind the nation's best nonprofits, according to the authors of Forces for Good.
A new "deconstruction" project here in Dayton illustrates the power of partnership. This project is providing jobs, it is recycling old building materials that would otherwise lay in a landfill, AND it is removing unwanted structures from Dayton neighborhoods. Workers take apart the old buildings by hand, and sell what can be reused at the Deconstruction Depot. Then, the proceeds go back into the project. Smart!
These organizations combine their individual strengths to make the project work: East End Community Services, St. Vincent de Paul, PowerNet of Dayton, and Architectural Reclamation Company (ARC)
