Mister C is known for “making the ordinary extraordinary.” His innovative, energetic videos and live presentations have inspired thousands of students to learn about science and math concepts. Now, Dayton Metro Library has partnered with ThinkTV, Dayton’s PBS station, to bring Mister C LIVE to students online each weekday morning.
“To assist families with at-home learning, PBS digital innovator and Full STEAM Ahead host Mister C is giving daily Facebook Live science lessons and experiments for children of all ages,” said ThinkTV President David Fogarty. “ThinkTV, the Dayton Metro Library, and Mister C all want to educate, engage and inspire learners and families throughout our community. We're pleased to support this effort together.”
Mister C Live on Facebook streams Monday - Friday at 9:00 a.m. Viewers who miss the live show can watch older programs anytime. So far, Mister C has demonstrated how to bend light, create chemical reactions using household items, make a square bubble, and much more.
“We are thrilled to work with our partners at ThinkTV, especially during this challenging time for families and educators in our community,” said Tim Kambitsch, DML Executive Director. “ThinkTV and the Library share a commitment to education, and this project allows us to bring quality, exciting STEM learning to families at home.”
