The Dayton Metro Library invites the community to have Coffee With a Cop and talk about their questions or concerns at the Northwest Branch Library, 2410 Philadelphia Drive, on Wednesday, September 18, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Coffee With a Cop is a Dayton Police Department program, modeled after a national initiative, to encourage one-on-one conversation and small group interaction between the police and members of the communities they serve.
“We encourage folks to bring questions, concerns, ideas, or just get to know the men and women who patrol our streets every day,” said Heather McClure, Dayton Metro Library Security Manager. “Recent events in Dayton have made it even more valuable to connect people with the first responders who serve this community.”
The casual, drop-by event is free and open to the public.
