The sessions take place Tuesday mornings, 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Burkhardt Branch of the Dayton Metro Library, 4680 Burkhardt Avenue. Participants may choose to attend any or all of the sessions.

Focus on creating a clear and compelling resume and description of your key skills. In this session you’ll hone in on your unique message in words that will attract the attention of hiring organizations.
February 12: Fine Tuning Your Experiences and Accomplishments
Make sure your resume clearly describes your work accomplishments. You want readers of your resume to understand the impact you have made.
February 19: Interview Preparation: Creating Powerful Accomplishment Statements
Use the STAR method to document your accomplishments clearly, concisely and compellingly. Having a few compelling stories that can answer the important interview questions is the best way to prepare.
February 26: Maximizing the Impact of Social Media
Make sure your LinkedIn and Facebook profiles sell you! Social media is becoming a larger part of recruiting every day - let's make sure you stand out in a good way.
