Maker Fair at Dayton Metro Library

Hands-On Creative Exploration at the Main Library

The creative and the curious are invited to explore the Dayton Metro Library’s Maker Fair on Saturday, December 15, noon-4:00 p.m. The Eichelberger Forum on the first floor of the Main Library, 215 E. Third Street, will be the scene of creative ingenuity for children and tweens, though all ages are welcome.

The Maker Fair features hands-on engineering experiences with K’Nex and Strawbees, invention with Makey Makey, and robotics with LEGO Mindstorms.

“Whether you’re a crafter, a tinkerer, a techie, an artist, or you’re just curious, you’re going to enjoy the Maker Fair,” said Julie Buchanan, Programming Manager. “We’ll have stations set up with a variety of interactive STEM experiences, plus a LUMOPlay Projector and our always-popular button maker.”

The Maker Fair is free and open to all ages.
