On Monday, August 21, the Insights for Women in Business team will host an event devoted to networking success. “Do You Have a Networking Plan?” is presented by Amy Gantt, owner of Lula Bell Art and Designs. The program takes place at Corner Kitchen in the Oregon District, 613 E. Fifth Street. Registration opens at 4:00 p.m. and Amy’s presentation begins at 5:00 p.m.
“Amy Gantt understands being busy running a business while taking care of a home and family,” said Anne Riegle-Crichton, Business Services Librarian. “She also understands that networking events are important, but sometimes too prevalent, and not all events provide a return on the investment of time or money. She’ll share her networking plan to help female business owners and entrepreneurs decide which events provide the greatest outcome.”
The cost for this event is $20 and registration is available through the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce website. Space is limited.
“Natalie Skilliter, owner of Corner Kitchen, and her team have planned a delightful menu of appetizers and drinks that will be shared throughout the evening,” said Reigle-Crichton. “There will be time for participants to practice the networking skills Amy discusses before the event wraps up at 6:30 p.m.”
Insights for Women in Business is a series of events that allow female entrepreneurs to share their stories of success and their insights with new female business owners and entrepreneurs. It is sponsored by the Dayton Chapter of SCORE, the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Dayton Metro Library.
