"Appy Hour": Learn about Educational Apps for Children

Come to the Library for Appy Hour! The Dayton Metro Library is hosting free “Appy Hour” programs, offering caregivers a chance to learn more about the many educational apps that are available for young children.

“If you want to learn how to evaluate the value and pitfalls of the technology your children use, we can help,” said Kathleen Moore, Early Literacy Librarian. “We’ll talk about apps, websites and best practices for sharing digital media with your little one.”

The free programs are offered at several Branch Libraries this summer. Registration is not required:

Miamisburg Branch Library, 545 E. Linden Avenue
