Professionals in transition and individuals seeking career opportunities will find valuable coaching, information and encouragement at the monthly Job Seekers programs hosted by the Dayton Metro Library. Starting in January, Job Seekers expands to the Northwest Branch as well as Miami Township Branch Library.
“We have participants who are new to the job market, those in transition and those who are seeking career change,” said Ann Riegle-Crichton, Business Services Librarian who coordinates the Job Seekers program. “Expanding Job Seekers to our Northwest Branch Library allows us connect with more people looking to break into or transition within the job market.”
Each month, expert presenters address topics that connect participants to the job resources and information they need. Ohio Means Jobs will be on hand at the January sessions to discuss available resources and offer a 2017 jobs outlook.
Job Seekers meets the first Thursday each month at the Miami Township Branch Library, and the second Monday of each month at the Northwest Branch Library. For more information, visit the Events Calendar or call 937.463.BOOK.
