Two exhibits at the Trotwood and New Lebanon Branches of the Dayton Metro Library celebrate the creativity of older adults. The exhibits are the culmination of two Creative Aging art classes led by local teaching artist Teresa Olivarria, especially for participants age 55+. The exhibit receptions are free and open to the public.

This exhibit is the culmination of an 8-week drawing workshop.
Daydreaming on Paper – Saturday, June 18, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
New Lebanon Branch Library, 715 W. Main Street, New Lebanon
Artwork in this exhibit represents the work of participants in a 6-week collage/journaling class.
The classes were made possible by a grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
“We are pleased to unveil the original artwork created by the artists in our workshops,” said Julie Buchanan, Older Adult Services Librarian. “This gives the participants, their friends and families the opportunity to see what they’ve been working on over the past few weeks, and gives the public a chance to appreciate some wonderful new artwork.”
