It’s easier than ever to be an informed consumer, as the Dayton Metro Library now offers access to all the information from Consumer Reports magazine at one easy-to-use website, available free at DaytonMetroLibrary.org.
Consumer Reports Online provides ratings on cars, appliances, electronics and more, as well as updates on product availability so consumers can make informed purchasing decisions.
Access is available on the Dayton Metro Library’s website through any Library computer or with a home computer, laptop or wireless device. Go to the Research Tools page at DaytonMetroLibrary.org and select the Consumer Reports database. You’ll need your Library card number and PIN to access outside of the Library.
“Due to costs, we were unable to offer a digital version of the magazine, but now our patrons can have free access to all the information from Consumer Reports through our subscription to their website,” said Barb Kuhns, Manager of Information Technology Services.
