Backyard Chickens: Raising Hens in the Suburbs

The Huber Heights Branch of the Dayton Metro Library hosts "Backyard Chickens," a presentation and community discussion on Thursday, January 22, at 6:30 p.m. Guest Susan Dunn will talk about her successes and missteps in raising suburban chickens. Then, panelists from a variety of venues including the City of Huber Heights will discuss the opportunities and limitations to consider.

"The Library is a great place for discussions such as this," said Kim Bishop, Huber Heights Branch Manager. "We bring people with various perspectives together so that participants can be well informed."

The program is free and open to the public at the Huber Heights Branch Library, 6160 Chambersburg Road. For more information, contact the Library at 937-496-8934.
