Northmont Branch of the Dayton Metro Library Closes for Carpet Installation
The Northmont Branch of the Dayton Metro Library is getting new carpet this weekend. The Library, located at 333 W. National Road in the Englewood Government Center, will be closed Friday, September 26, through Monday, September 29, for carpet installation. The old carpet is being replaced due to safety issues.
A free Library program exploring the history of the rail connection between downtown Dayton and Piqua in the early years of the 20th century will still take place on Monday evening, September 29, 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Englewood Government Center. Historian Scott Trostel presents "The Dayton, Covington and Piqua Traction Company," exploring the interurban rail line, which traveled through Englewood, 1902-1926. The program is free and open to the public.
The Northmont Branch Library reopens for regular business hours on Tuesday, September 30, 9:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Call the Library at 937-496-8950 for more information.
