Halloween Activities for All Ages

spoooky'Tis the season for ghosts, mysteries and spooky stories, and the Dayton Metro Library has them all. There are Halloween-themed storytimes, costume parties and indoor trick-or-treating for young children. Teens and tweens can watch Halloween movies and make seasonal crafts. There are even some chilling, mysterious and ghostly programs for adults.

"The Dayton Metro Library celebrates Halloween in a festive, family-friendly way," said Mimi Morris, Assistant Director of Branch and Extension Services. "Your Library is a safe place for young children to have fun with costumes, stories, activities, and of course, treats. You may even see your favorite Librarian in costume as well."

The fall issue of Spotlight On Your Library lists programs taking place at all Dayton Metro Library locations through December. This free publication is available at all Library locations. The Library's website,, features a searchable Events Calendar. Or call the Library at 937-463-2665 to find out about programs at the Library nearest you.
