Fall means children are back in school and back in sports, so it's the perfect time for parents to learn about injury prevention, preparing healthy meals on the go, and more. The Dayton Metro Library, in conjunction with Dayton Children's Hospital, is offering "Top Tips for a Safe and Healthy Sports Season," a free program taking place at several Library locations this fall.
Ashley Stanko, Sports Medicine Marketing and Business Development Manager at Dayton Children's Hospital, will talk about these topics and more as part of the Dayton Metro Library's Be A Reading Hero initiative, which brings first responders and families together at the Library for informative new programs.
Top Tips for a Safe and Healthy Sports Season" takes place:
Thursday, 9/11, 6:30-8:00 p.m. - Northmont Branch, Englewood, 496-8950
Monday, 9/15, 6:30-7:30 p.m. - West Carrollton Branch, 496-8962
