| Ohio has a new website called OhioHeretoHelp.com. This site from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is focused on helping those who are unemployed discover resources and programs that can help. The "Back on Track Checklist" gives you a list of resources to start with to make sure you are finding out about all of the programs that may assist you. The site acts as a gateway that gathers together links to many different government and private programs so that you have one place to go to search for assistance. You can find links in the categories of Money (including information on the topics of energy assistance, housing vouchers, foreclosure, unclaimed funds, financial counseling, and more), Food, Housing, Healthcare, Education & Training, and More (topics cover child care, legal services, avoiding scams, transportation, and career and job search information). |
