Young children find water endlessly fascinating and summer is, of course, the best time to indulge them. Pour it back and forth, make it overflow a container, block it’s stream, splash it up high, direct it’s flow, there are so many things to do and learn during play with water. (science concepts) Add in some sand or dirt, some old kitchen utensils, and you’ve got paradise on earth for the average three year old. The following books explore some of the joys, beauties and fear of water.
