Special Skills for Math and Science

Cognitive scientists and educational psychologists have shown that spatial thinking is important for success in math and science. Researchers at the University of Chicago demonstrated that parents who use more spatial words with their toddlers have children who are likely to be better at spatial thinking at 41/2 years.  To learn more about how to help your child develop spatial thinking, follow this link: Johns Hopkins Science of Learning Institute.
