When it comes to a mother’s breastfeeding journey, there can be challenges. New mothers may need encouragement and support to meet these challenges and sometimes the best advice comes from other mothers on the same journey. To meet this need, monthly Mom's Chat Cafés will start in April at the West Carrollton, branch facilitated by a WIC Peer Helper. Topics will include the benefits of breastfeeding, what to expect in the early postpartum days, nutrition during pregnancy, starting solid foods, and handling challenges. No childcare is available, but children are welcome to attend with moms. Join us on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on the following dates: 4/17, 5/15, 6/12, 7/17, and 8/14.
