When you ask your preschooler or toddler questions, you are providing the support they need to develop thinking skills. Try to avoid asking yes or no questions and they will develop their language skills too. Here are a few examples of open-ended questions that you might try:
• What do you think will happen next?
• How might you do it differently?
• What is happening now?
