There are plenty of spiders everywhere at this time of year. Head outside with your little one and see how many you can find. Rather than capturing the creatures, consider taking photos to share later with others. Take time to observe spider behavior and talk about what you see. You might bring along a clipboard with paper to document your observations. Where did you find the spider? Why do you think it might choose this location? Did you see a web? Were there any insects caught in the web?
