It is never too soon to start reading aloud to your children. Studies show that children who are read to from an early age have a bigger vocabulary and stronger language skills. Don't hesitate to read words that are unfamiliar to your child. Through repeated readings and discussions about the meaning of the words, your child will eventually add these words to his or her vocabulary.
