Get answers 24 hours a day, every day! If you wake up in the middle of the night with a burning need to know the exact height of Mt. Everest, this is the place for you. You can get info you need for a business presentation, a job interview, travel plans or just because you want to know. Once you connect (you need to enter your zip code and this service is only available to local residents), type in your question to a librarian who will give you a quick and friendly response. Often you will get a recommended web site displayed on your screen so you and the librarian can decide together if this is the best source of info for you. When you’re done, you will get a transcript emailed to you so you can easily find the info again.

For students, there is an especially helpful feature. From 2 p.m. until 10 p.m., there are trained tutors available to give specialized help in the toughest school topics. It’s like having a friendly teacher whenever you need her, right in your computer.

These services are offered by the Dayton Metro Library in conjunction with the Cleveland Public Library and CLEVENET Library Consortium.
