Are you well-positioned for employment opportunities?

Whether you want to stay relevant in your current field, you’re considering an encore career, or you’re a young professional seeking additional skills to help you land a better job – this Expo is for you! Informative panel presentations, one-on-one coaching sessions, and a vast array of exhibitors are all focused on helping adults like you who want to enhance their skills, explore their career options, and position themselves for successful employment. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a job fair or hiring event.

YOU SHOULD ATTEND IF YOU:

  • realize you need additional skills to achieve your career goals
  • want to discover educational options that are available to you
  • want to learn about financial aid opportunities
  • would benefit from a free 15-minute consultation with a professional career coach

CAREER COACHING:

ONE-ON-ONE COACHING | 4 - 6:30 PM (15-minute sessions; first come, first served)
Get advice from experienced career coaches who work with clients every day. Our Job Seekers volunteers have extensive experience in job searching, career coaching, and skills/interest inventories. Bring your questions for an individual, 15-minute session with coaches/advisors Lisa Gillespie, Dana Morgan, Judith Schimpf and Mike Vacchiano.

 

PANEL PRESENTATIONS:

ADULT EDUCATION SUCCESS STORIES | 5:00 - 6:00 PM
A panel of adult students and graduates will talk about how they made Adult Education work for them! They will discuss: how they chose their program, how they paid for it, obstacles they faced along the way, and where they are now in their educational and career goals.

 

EXHIBITORS:

A broad spectrum of community organizations and services will be on hand offering information about education options, financial aid, job training, career coaching, and so much more.
