How to Watch

Career Adventures Camp airs on DML’s Facebook page June 15 - 19, with a new program starting at noon each day and lasting about 20 - 30 minutes. As the week progresses we will provide links to the videos on Facebook as well as YouTube to the corresponding days below.

Monday, June 15

Pay a visit to Noble Tool to meet folks who do precision machining, tooling, and special machine building for the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries.

Tuesday, June 16

Meet a variety of healthcare professionals from Dayton Children’s, Kettering Health Network, and Premier Health. Then, find out what a Hydrologist does at Dayton’s Water Treatment Plant.

Wednesday, June 17

Today we’re visiting Mechanical Systems of Dayton to learn about the HVAC industry, along with carpentry, electrical work and construction. You’ll meet both instructors and apprentices in these fields.

Thursday, June 18

We’re off to Sinclair’s Unmanned Aerial Systems National Training and Certification Center to see what a flight simulator is like, look at aircraft engines, and learn what drones can do. See how 3D printers are making the PPE people need. Then, learn about inventory management and what goes into scheduling, shipping and delivery at Value Added Packaging.

Friday, June 19

Today we’re visiting Expedient Technology Solutions to learn about different types of jobs in technology - specifically jobs that support the internet, data management, and cyber security. Then, we’ll check in with some of the innovative learning opportunities that are happening at the Air Force Institute of Technology.
