This slideshow with music features photos of the famous Annie Oakley Collection at the Garst Museum in Greenville, photos of Annie's childhood home, grave, and state markers. The program includes accounts of her life with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show for seventeen years, performing before royalty in Europe and living in Dayton and Greenville. There will be stories of the presenter's father, Virgil Bey, who was born near Frenchtown and Brock four miles from Annie Oakley's birthplace in Darke County and saw her perform in 1921 in Versailles. "Little Miss Sure Shot" was a petite, five foot tall dynamo of a sharp shooter and show business legend. This program challenges many legends about Annie Oakley and shows that truth is better than fiction.
