Business Workshops

Business Workshops at Dayton Metro Libraries

Find out how to start a business, market a business, and create a business plan during free monthly workshops presented by SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business. Workshop topics will guide the beginning entrepreneur through the process of starting a business, marketing the business, and creating a business plan to use for securing financial assistance and guiding the business through its first years. Workshops address the topics of Web Site Planning, How to Survive a Down Economy, and Basic Sales Skills. SCORE workshops are led by qualified counselors who have years of business experience and who volunteer their time so that others can succeed in business.

SCORE Workshops are free of charge, but r egistration is required. For more information, call 463-BOOK (2665) or the branch where the program is scheduled.

One-on-One Business Counseling

One-on-One Business Counseling is offered by SCORE the first Thursday of every month, 10:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. at the Main Library. SCORE counselors can advise beginning entrepreneurs on a number of topics, from creating a business plan, to financing, to marketing and more.
