| As part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the U.S. Department of Energy is providing funding to states and territories to support consumer rebate programs for Energy Star qualified appliances. Under these programs, consumers can receive rebates to purchase energy-efficient appliances when they replace old appliances. To be eligible for a rebate from the State of Ohio, you must be a resident of Ohio and have a valid Ohio street address. Consumers must provide proof that the replaced appliance(s) were turned in for proper disposal.
