 On Kyon's first day of high school, he meets a new classmate, Haruhi Suzumiya. He soon realizes she is not your typical student when she introduces herself to the class and tells them that she is looking for people from the future, aliens, and espers. Far from being melancholy, Haruhi is in fact easily bored. In her quest to find interesting people and situations she forms a new club, the SOS Brigade, with Kyon as its first member. As Haruhi gathers three other members for the club, Yuki, Mikuru, and Koizumi, Kyon begins to realize that Haruhi is not the only atypical student at school. Who is Haruhi? Why do the other club members know so much about her? And what is the mysterious event that happened three years ago? Watch the anime to find out! Or if you would prefer to read the manga, we have that available also. This is a light, funny series that I would recommend for older teens and adults due to a few scenes of fan service.
