This book aims to give you tips and tools to save money using coupons.  It’s for newbie couponers, plus people who’ve used coupons for years, and even for shoppers who want to become extreme couponers.  If you’re like me and have always clipped Sunday newspaper coupons and now also clip coupons online and think you know everything about couponing, there’s still a lot to learn.  The book gave me several reliable websites where I can print coupons and taught me a little more about stacking coupons for the best values.  If you want to be an extreme couponer or just create a stockpile of grocery or drugstore items (which is when you really begin to see the savings) it’s all in the book.  Anyone who wants to save money when shopping will find something to use after reading the book.

Hello fellow movie buffs! Though filmed in glorious black and white, this is a departure from my usual recommended titles. This is truly a bad movie—so bad that you will want to see it! The ‘bad seed’ is angelically coifed eight year old Rhoda. She skips and simpers through her oh so normal life that when ‘bad’ things begin to happen, her world cracks. Mom could rival any of the 50’s TV moms—pearls and sweater sets and clueless. Released in 1956 and based on a successful Broadway stage production, the director signed the actors who created the stage roles to star in the film version. Actors include Patty McCormack as Rhoda (her trademark blond braids!) and excellent and long time character actors Henry Jones and Eileen Heckert. I recommend this title for all the ‘off screen’ horror---murder and divine retribution—we don’t need to see all the blood and guts.  The movie production code was in during this period so the bad acts were punished. A major post viewing discussion point should include ‘nature vs. nurture’ when raising a child. This film is not rated.
