Is it hard for you or someone you know to get to the library?We can deliver books, movies and music to your home, free of charge!The Dayton Metro Library provides this service to adults who have difficulty getting out. Tell us what you would like, and we'll bring it to you. Homebound Delivery is there for you. How does it work?Call the Outreach Services staff at 496-8956 to request Homebound Delivery. We will take your requests and set up a delivery time. Deliveries are made every three weeks, and we'll bring as much as you can use in that time. We will pick up whatever you are ready to return and bring a new bag of library materials every three weeks.Can I ask for something specific?Yes! Tell us what you want, and we will try to get it for you. Also, a feedback survey will be left in your bag of materials each time, and you can write on there anything you want. You can also call, email or fax us your request. What if I forget to return something?We will keep a special card for you at Outreach Services, and no overdue fines will accrue on your Homebound card. If you can't find a book, call us so we can give you extra time to look for it.

We'll bring anything you can borrow from the Dayton Metro Library to your door, including regular and large type books, DVDs and videos, music, books on tape and CDs. Whatever your favorite authors, subjects or genres, the Dayton Metro Library has something for you! |
